Charmaine Hall, MSEd., CCC-SLP (L), CALP, CDP, C-PESL is the founder and owner of CLEAR EXPRESSIONS Speech & Language Services, LLC. As a speech-language pathologist, she is national certified through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). She is licensed in the states of Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. Charmaine has worked as a speech-language pathologist for over 14 years.

Charmaine is also a Certified Academic Language Practitioner (CALP) and is affiliated with the nationally known Academic Language Therapy Association (ALTA) and the International Dyslexia Association (IDA). This certification has enabled Charmaine to provide specialized services to individuals who have a diagnosis of dyslexia and/or simply struggle with reading, writing, spelling and comprehension.

She has also been trained by the Institute of Language and Phonology, as a Compton Pronouncing English as a Second Language Coach (C-PESL). This has allowed her to provide accent/pronunciation training to individuals.

Charmaine completed her Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and French at the University of Toronto, in Canada. She obtained a Master of Science in Education degree, in Communication Sciences and Disorders, from the University of Nebraska in 2007. As a highly-skilled speech therapist, who is devoted to her clients’ success, she has worked with adults and children with diverse communication needs in a variety of settings, such as hospitals, nursing homes, home health, private practice and schools.

Charmaine enjoys helping and supporting individuals to become effective communicators. Her special interests include helping individuals overcome difficulties in reading, writing & spelling. Additionally, she enjoys providing pronunciation and accent training to her clients.
